Hello NC East District Clubs,

This is a reminder of the upcoming OI Foundation Auction that will immediately follow the Executive Board meeting on Friday night February 10, 2012. 

Please encourage your members to join us for the fun and fellowship while we auction off our donated goodies to raise money for the OI Foundation. 

We need your help in several ways:

·        Donate goods for the auction

·        Attend and bid on the goods

Some examples of the donated goods are:  homemade foods, household goods, tools, gift baskets, music cd’s, exercise equipment, decorations – there really isn’t a limit of what you can donate for the auction.

So please plan on joining us for the fun and let’s raise some money for the children!

* Format: Four-person, Captain’s Choice, 18 holes. Prizes awarded. There will be a card play off for ties, starting on a `blind hole’. Prizes for `closest to the pin’ and `the longest drive’ will be awarded for selected holes. Teams are encouraged to register, however if you do not have a team, enter anyway. We will place you on a team. The Entry fee will be $55/person cart & green fee. We will be selling 2 mulligan's & 1 red tee for $10.00 at the course or you can add it to the above amount of a Total of $65.00.

* We are asking for each club and / or each player to please send or bring something suitable for prizes. Possibly check with your local sports stores to get gifts donated. 

.* This is a rewarding and fun event. Not only District & Club officers, but all Optimists in the District & NON-OPTIMIST groups are urged to take part. This is a fund raising event for the Boys & Girls Homes in NC at Lake Waccamaw, NC
